The Dallas Safari Club Convention, an annual outdoor expo, returns to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and Omni Hotel Dallas for a four-day run starting Thursday.
The DSC’s showcase event is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
This year’s theme is Mogambo: Dagga Boy Danger. The expo will fill a record 800,000 square feet with 1,000 exhibitors and 1,800 booths.
The convention is one of the biggest fundraising events in Texas. Over the past five years, the live and silent auctions have generated more than $5 million for conservation, education and hunter advocacy grants and initiatives.
